Day 2: Little Miss New-Running-Shoes

Little Miss New-Running-Shoes woke up very early, in fact it was so early that nobody else in the whole land was awake.

She decided that since it was Juneathon, she needed all the sleep she could get, and so she remained in bed till a respectable hour. After a light breakfast of marmalade toast, Little Miss-New-Running-Shoes, head out to: collect a parcel which to her delight was very cheep new running shoes ( £35 ASICS from sweatshop sale-bargin) and popped to the the shops, where she spent her birthday money on
  • New walking trainers
  • A new top for work
  • Sunglasses
Once arriving home, it was soon time to rummage around for some running kit that was clean. Mr Fast arrived and they both set off on a run. It was a very hot afternoon, Little Miss New-Running-Shoes wished she'd been for her run in the morning, however they plodded on despite the heat chatting cheerily abou the events of the day, until suddenly Mr Fast was attacked by a nasty looking vicious, scary dog.

This was all very eventful and unexpected; but thankfully the owners eventually put it on a lead and Little Miss New-Running-Shoes and Mr Fast were able to finish their run in peace taking the total distance for the two days to 22 miles.

Tomorrow's run will be short as Little Miss New-Running-Shoes is out for the day and will have to run when she gets home, when she will be very tired!

Miles today : 11
Total miles: 22
Scary dogs: 1
Ice creams: 0
