Step 2: The day before make sure you rest, hydrate and chill out.
Step 3: Set the alarm early and head for your starting place.
Step 4: After going to the lovely porta-loos, make sure you get time to relax, hydrate and people watch the other nervous looking runners!
Step 5: Ensure any last minute 'wardrobe malfunctions' have been taken care of!
Step 6: Head to your starting pen and wait for the gun to go off
Step 7: Run your race to the best of your ability, stepping over the bottles, wave to the crowd and most of all enjoy every moment, there isn't another marathon quite like it anywhere!
Step 7: You have just run 26.2 miles, Don't forget to collect your medal!
HA! This is hardly the "race report" I was expecting, after reading your heartfelt & well crafted Brighton report... but... I love, love, LOVED the photos! And I got the main message I think: Jo had great fun. Good job, Jo :-)
