Winter run = fun, fun, fun!

The clocks went back today. I was nervous as to which of my clocks would automatically update and which wouldn't!

The alarm went off at 6:30, I wasn't sure if it was 6:30 or 7:30! It was 6:30! Hurrah, more lie-in time! We should have been running the Barnes Green Half Marathon today but had to go to a Christening instead.

We decided we should get a quick run in to start 'British Winter Time' as we meant to go on. 3 miles later and the winter season had begun.

I managed a small 20.5 miles last week, plus a 10 mile bike ride yesterday. I think this week's mileage will be less due to child care, an exam, a presentation and the small matter of frantically applying for graduate/doctoral training for next year.

Winter challenges planned so far:
Brighton 10k
A Santa 5k (very exciting!!!)
If anyone knows of any good winter races in the south east let me know!

Happy Running :o)
