Low on miles, low on smiles : Day 6

I really didn't feel like running today. In fact I felt sick, not proper 'I think I might be sick' sick, but a bit 'oh I think I feel a bit queasy' sick. I decided I should just 'man up' and go for it. So I put down my revision notes and got changed and headed out the door. It was raining, meh, it was cold meh meh. I didn't take my Garmin or my ipod because it was one of those days where i wanted to run 2 miles and switch off and get back home. It was a grumpy, begrudging run, my thoughts clattered about and I couldn't really think clearly about anything

I did indeed run 2 miles, by the time I got home I didn't feel sick, I was ready for lunch! My new running stuff had been delivered and so I had a quick shower and tried it on. I'd chosen a green vest from Adidas and matching black leggings. They both fit, but the vest is very green and I do look a little bit like Shrek in it! I'm usually a pink kind of girl but decided to broaden my horizons after buying non-pink running shoes! Oh the shock horror!! The look on my 11 year old daughters face said it all really...I can't decide what to do, it is nice stuff, and some of my running gear is so well used, falling apart and getting see through I really do need to reinvest!!

In other news, tomorrow sees the start of 4 weeks of exams. I have 3 exams to take in the next 7 days and three in the weeks following...eek! First one tomorrow, should be the best as it's my favourite subject, developmental psychology. I'm glad the day is starting with a run in Stanmer park next to the university, though I am worried about falling over or some other disaster which might mean I can't take the exam!!

No psycho bit tonight as I'm resting my neurons ready for the big day tomorrow!
