Day 29: Miss Road Kill

An uneventful three miles was drawing to a close when suddenly a car, coming out of the local church car park, decided that rather than slowly creep out and see if anyone was passing by would hurtle out at top speed. I was nearly a road kill running statistic (OK it wasn't that bad but after 29 days of running and blogging I have writers block).

This is not the first time I have been almost sent heaven bound by a speedy righteous person coming out of the church. Last year I was almost squished by the vicar who came tearing down his drive at bible-tastic break neck speed. I suppose he felt the more people he takes out the more funerals he gets to take (this is a joke). Anyway, you'll be pleased to know I am still alive and haven't had to plead my case at the pearly gates of doom..yet.

The rather amusing thing was after nearly running me over the nice killer driver lady waved me over as though it was her right of way! I gave her a paddington bear hard stare and made a mental note to slow down when running past any places of worship!!!!
