Reminded of this quote
'Some days there wont be a song in your heart, sing anyway.'
...I dragged myself out of bed at 11pm, (I wasn't sleeping anyway), and ran up and down my road till I hit .55 of a mile. Granted it's not an award winning distance, but enough to ensure I was close by so nobody robbed my house while I was running, and more importantly it means I will finish June with my stats neatly stacked in a row of 30 days, rather than a disappointing 26.
For those evidence based juneathoners among you, I took a pic of my garmin proving that I did indeed run tonight! And yes, even .55 of a mile can make you feel better about the world.
Life is a shipwreck, but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. - Voltaire
