Day 12: Little Miss Notification

This was me today! I spent the day fighting notifications requiring my attention. So, I was really looking forward to a quick 10k on the local trail without any notifications or interruptions! However, at the weekend I found my heart rate monitor and decided to take it out with me today.

I've not used it for a few years and my Garmin was set to notify me every time my heart rate dropped below a certain level. Having not used it for several years, I have no idea what level it was set at, only now I know that I am probably much fitter than I was then, because I was hacking a bit of an 8 something pace chasing Steve, at some points only to get repeated notifications saying my 'heart rate was too low'... Even out on the trail there was no escaping a notification! Arraghhh. Still, it was a good 10k, and blew away the cob webs of the day!

Miles today:6.2
Total Miles: 74
Notifications today: off the scale!

  2. Nice running!
I would have binned the HRM if it gave me hassle after that sort of day!
